Born and raised in Queens, NYC as an only child! I had to find ways to subdue my loneliness so I often spent my time making creative projects and playing video games. I got my first computer at the age of 7 and gradually gravitated towards graphic design, which I've loved since the era of Neopets (c. early 2000s). I've appreciated the aspects of design for as long as I can remember and I've always tried to see the reasoning behind why certain things are composed the way they are. I noticed that the color pink always brought me comfort and happiness, and it reminds me today that I'm not actually alone. Today, I'm overjoyed about creating work and being a part of the space that made me fall in love with digital media initially.
I came up with my handle ‘blushpink’ several years ago when I had to choose a name for my PlayStation account. I started using it on more websites and decided that I eventually wanted to create a website under this moniker. After hours of thinking and sketching out various logo iterations, I can finally say that I have one that fully encompasses who I am! The main goals I had in mind were to, of course, incorporate a blush pink color and the letters ‘B’ and ‘P’, while trying to integrate a heart shape into the design.
